PROGRAM INFO This program computes a table of the simple GEOCENTRIC phase angles of the moon for 00:00 UT on each date of the given Era/Year/Month. The simple phase angle does not include the tiny librations. ------------------------------------------------------------------ TIME SCALES TT = Terrestrial (Dynamical) Time This scale is recommended for ancient and far-future dates. The Time Zone offset is ignored when using the TT scale. UT = Universal Time = The world standard time base. UT only applies when the Time Zone offset equates to zero. LT = Local Time = The local time in the given Time Zone. This only applies when the Time Zone offset <> +00:00 There is also an option to adjust for Daylight/Summer time. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The geocentric distance is computed in both kilometers and miles. Const = 3-letter IAU constellation symbol. The moon phase angle is reckoned clockwise in degrees from 0 to 360. Where: 0° = New Moon 45 = Waxing Evening Crescent 90 = First Quarter 135 = Waxing Gibbous 180 = Full Moon 225 = Waning Gibbous 270 = Last Quarter 315 = Waning Morning Crescent 360 = New Moon
